Ten Tracks That Made – Davi Hemann

Davi Hemann is quickly becoming one of the biggest names to watch in the future, as the young producer continues to take strides forwards in his productions and build upon his already quality set of releases. the 17 year old based out of Brazil brings a unique sound to a busy and often repetitive industry, and we caught up with him to find out what his top ten inspirational songs were.

Here are Davi’s top ten tracks!

10: The Black Eyed Peas – I Gotta Feeling: https://youtu.be/uSD4vsh1zDA

This was the first track that got me into electronic music. I still remember clearly when I heard it for the first time, when a friend showed me it, and I was super curious on how that track was made.

9: David Guetta Feat. Kid Cudi – Memories: https://youtu.be/NUVCQXMUVnI

This masterpiece marked my childhood because all the things that my friends and me were doing was whilst we were listening to Memories. It is a really nice production for the time!

8: Avicii – Hey Brother: https://youtu.be/6Cp6mKbRTQY

This is a very special one to me as it is only of the few electronic tracks that actually make gives me goose bumps. The sounds, the melody and the arrangement of the track, for me, are perfect.

7: Nicky Romero – Toulouse: https://youtu.be/KrVC5dm5fFc

Nicky did a very nice job on this one. Toulouse made me understand how Electro House works, and how the most different sounds combined with a very good melody creates a completely new atmosphere on the track.

6: DVBBS & Borgeous – Tsunami: https://youtu.be/0EWbonj7f18

Tsunami is a classic. I have too many good memories of parties with this song. Maybe that is why I like Big Room a lot1

5: Kungs vs Cookin’ on 3 Burners – This Girl: https://youtu.be/2Y6Nne8RvaA

There are some really good vibes on this track that I can’t explain. The trumpets were very well selected and sit perfectly on the track. The signature part is the funky guitar chords, which are very different from the stuff that I usually listen to.

4: Avicii – Wake Me Up: https://youtu.be/IcrbM1l_BoI

Avicii once again shows how a very different genre (Country) can be transposed to electronic music. This track is one of the best examples that we should always try new things.

3: Martin Garrix – Animals: https://youtu.be/gCYcHz2k5x0

Animals made me want start producing. The break melody is so catchy, and the drop sound is so unique that inspires me until this day.

2: Firebeatz – Arsonist: https://youtu.be/_Ee9DvBvTL0

One of the most energetic drops I’ve ever heard. The track is very well produced and inspires me so much.

1: Swedish House Mafia ft. John Martin – Don’t You Worry Child: https://youtu.be/1y6smkh6c-0

This song is the very definition of EDM for me. The song writing and melody is perfect. Very creative and innovative for the time!
