WNDR discusses his plans for the future

WNDR began his first steps in his career at the age of just 10 years old when he began behind the decks. He went on to learn the art of producing and since then has released music on some of the world’s most prolific labels such as Sony and Crosswalk Records. With such an outstanding career, we caught up with WNDR to chat to him about his past career and what the future holds for him.

Looking back on the artist you were 5 years ago, how would you say you have changed?

I would say I have changed a lot; I had a totally different sound and alias 5 years ago.

What plans do you have for yourself musically/career wise in 3 years from now?

3 years from now I hope that my name is better known throughout the world, and that I have crossed out some of my festival milestones.

How do you think the scene will change in the future?

Right now, I don’t have a clue! Due to all that’s happened this year, its hard to predict what will happened with the scene.

After 2020, what do you see for the clubbing circuit?

I hope the clubs will still be here after the struggle that has been 2020. It’s been a rough year for clubs and musicians alike this year.

What are some personal goals that would you like to achieve?

I would like to do an official festival world tour, I have set 2022 as the year to do it so let’s just hope that festivals are allowed by then!

List 3 things on your bucket list?

  • Do a collab with Sinead Harnett (or an official remix)
  • Get over my fear of hights
  • Drive the US coast to coast

What do you predict for 2030?

In 2030 my daughter is a teenager, so hopefully, I’ll still have my sanity!

What will be the one achievement where you think ‘I’ve made it’?

When all my current milestones are completed.

Finally, if you could leave a message for your future self, what would it be?

You did could considering the odds, you didn’t waiver and it got you where you are now.
